omniORBpy pre-release 2 is now available via CVS and FTP.

The most significant update is that omniORB 3.0 can now be used as the
underlying ORB. omniORB 2.8 can still be used as before.

If you use omniORBpy with omniORB 3.0, the full POA functionality is
available. You can now use multiple POAs, servant managers, and so on,
from your Python programs.

Pre-release 2 also improves the stability of the ORB, especially when
confronted with errors in user code.

If you have been using omniORBpy pre-release 1, you should remove your
existing omniORBpy source tree before installing pre-release 2, since
the directory organisation has been changed somewhat.

If you have a bug to report, please report which version of the
omniORB core (3.0 or 2.8) you are using.

Enjoy!

Duncan.
