Hot on the heals of omniORB 3.0 pre-release 3, omniORBpy 1.0
pre-release 3 is now available. This is the release candidate for
omniORBpy 1.0.

omniORBpy is an implementation of the standard Python CORBA mapping.

The mapping for server-side skeletons has changed in this pre-release,
to meet a clarification in the Python mapping. Server-side code
written for previous omniORBpy pre-releases must be updated to work
with this pre-release.

We plan to go to the full 1.0 release in the next few days. Please
help by giving this pre-release a try, and reporting any problems.

You can download binary distributions for Windows and Linux glibc2.1,
and the source distribution from

  http://www.uk.research.att.com/omniORB/omniORBpy/

Cheers,

Duncan.
