[omniORB] Compiling omniORB 3.0.0 on WinNT

Could anybody confirm that "PYPREFIX1" doesn't get initialized on WinNT?

Configuration:

   P-II 350 MHz running WinNT 4.0 sp6a
   MSVC 6.0 sp3
   Cygnus Tools b20
   GNU make 3.79.1
   omniORB-3.00.tar.gz
   omnipython_x86_win32.tar.gz

After activating "platform =3D x86_nt_4.0" in "config/config.mk" and
uncommenting the first definition of "PYTHON" in
"mk/platforms/x86_nt_4.0.mk" I tried to "make export" from "src/" (in a
plain console window, without launching "/bin/sh"; btw, this didn't
change the misbehaviour).

Very early in the whole process I noticed that one or more commands
"failed". On closer inspection I found that was the shell call to
"python". Line 172 of file "src/tool/omniidl/cxx/dir.mk" pushes single
quote characters to the console. After switching single and double
quotes in line 172 "make export" runs to completion.

Am I correct in believing that "src/tool/omniidl/cxx/dir.mk" is at
fault?
