mkdirhier is a script, usually located in /usr/bin/X11 or wherever your
X binaries happen to be installed. Just put that in your path, and all
should be well.
Cheers,
Doug

Subject: Re: [omniORB] OmniEvents

Hi:
     I got problems when I install OmniEvents contributed by Paul Nader too.
My problem is when I type: make export
I got the error message below: mkdirhier ../../../stub
                                             make: mkdirhier: Command not found
                                             make: *** [../../../stub/Naming.hh] Error 127
And I type : make
I got the same error message.

The make is GNUmake that I download.
Is it necessary to use GNUmake to make files? Can I use other make to make files?
Is anyone know the "mkdirhier" in the error message ?

It is my first time to use make.
Please help me if you know how to solve it !!!!!!!!!!
Thank you very much!!
Thank you !!

sources AND examples are in src/contrib/omniEvents
(pullsupp.cc, pullcons.cc ...)
I havan't had many problems:
- mine GNUmakefile is simple:
szyman@k2(220)$ more GNUmakefile

TOP=../../..
CURRENT=src/contrib/omniEvents
include $(TOP)/config/config.mk

just type: make
after: make export

I corrected on Solaris 2.7 egcs-1.1.1 one problem:
in eventd.cc
one has to add
#include <singal.h>

Paul.Nader@alcatel.com.au promised me to correct this in
next release, the same he knows about problem with README file.

Cheers.
