[omniORB] Digital Unix and EGCS

Hi

Has anyone managed to get omniORB 2.7.1 compiled and working on 
Digital Unix 4.0d using egcs (1.1.1). I have it compiled but when I 
run the examples I get

Caught omniORB2 fatalException. This indicates a bug is caught within
omniORB2. Please send a bug report. The exception was thrown in file:
giopClient.cc
                            line: 187
The error message is: GIOP_C::ReceiveReply() reported wrong 
request message size.

Earlier versions of omniORB (e.g. 2.6.1) have been tried before with
more success.
