I think it has been pointed out already that we do not set TCP_NODELAY by
default. You probably want to play with setsockopt to see if the behaviour
changes. 

My impression is that there are more strange things about the MS TCP stack
than other platforms. You may get a different behaviour if your box talks
to a Solaris machine for instance.
