Linux RedHat 5.0 and snapshot_971224 problem

Hi,

I tried the newest omniORB snapshot on RedHat Linux 5.0
with gcc 2.7.2.3 and glibc.

All compiles well, but none of the examples run

The examples eg1, eg2_impl, eg2_clt etc are stopping with:
   Program received signal SIGUSR1, User defined signal 1.
   0x4010cbb4 in __syscall_sigsuspend ()


omniNames produces a segmentation violation in
   __pthread_mutex_lock() at mutex.c:112


Has anybody tried this constellation?
