Addressing Orbix-based services

Hello everyone
I'm trying to run a method in an Orbix-written CORBA server from an
omniORB-written client. I didn't succeed yet since the client
application throughs a BAD_OPERATION exception.
A view weeks ago I also had communication problems the other way round
which turned out to be caused by a name mapping bug in Orbix' C++ stubs.
May this problem now be something similar. Does anyone know this problem
and how to get rid of it?
