omniorb2: processNextEvent() available?

Hi all,
Does anyone know of a omniORB2 method similar to Orbix 
CORBA::BOA.processNextEvent()?

The omniORB2 implementation for impl_is_ready() offers the argument 
that I need for non-blocking behaviour, but, how can I afterwards 
control the processing of incoming events?
