Firewalls

Hi,

When the client gets an IOR from the server (without using a naming
service), the port number of the server is stored in the IOR, and it is
a dynamic port number. If the server is behind a tight firewall the
client will not be able to connect unless the firewall opens the port.
Is there a way around this? Does the naming service help me, since you
can get the naming service to listen on an allocated port number, and
the fire wall can open that number?

Roger
